  • Product Profiles: We showcase premium lubes and components, including AMSOIL, the Motul Classic range, and items from our Rare Parts Bin. We make every effort to display product details, specifications, and images accurately; however, slight variations may occur.
  • Stock Availability: Due to the specialty and imported nature of our product lines, certain oils or rare vintage parts may be available in limited quantities. All orders are subject to stock availability. If an item is out of stock after you place an order, we will notify you immediately and issue a full refund or offer an alternative solution.
  • Pricing & ECTA Pricing Errors: All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT (Value Added Tax) at the current legislated rate, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
    • Inadvertent Errors: In accordance with South African consumer law, if a product is inadvertently listed at a glaringly incorrect price due to a technical error or system glitch, The Classic Garage is not legally bound to supply the item at that incorrect price. We reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

4. Order Acceptance and Electronic Contracts

An agreement between you and The Classic Garage is only formed once we have processed your payment and dispatched the goods. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion for valid reasons, including suspected fraudulent transaction patterns, clear stock inaccuracies, or international shipping restrictions on hazardous automotive fluids.

5. Payment Methods and Security

Payment is required at the point of checkout before an order can be processed. We utilize secure, PCI-compliant third-party payment gateways to protect your transaction data. We accept:

  • Credit and Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, etc.)
  • Secure Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) / Instant EFT

  • Proper Product Application: Lubricants, automotive fluids, and rare mechanical components require precise application. The Classic Garage cannot be held liable for mechanical damage, engine failure, or personal injury resulting from the incorrect selection, handling, or application of products by the consumer. Please consult your vehicle’s manual or contact us for technical advice before application.
  • General Liability: To the maximum extent permitted under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), The Classic Garage will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Website or products purchased through it, save for liability that cannot be excluded under South African common law.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms, your relationship with us, and any disputes arising from your use of the Website are governed exclusively by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. You agree that any legal proceedings will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
